Koneoppiminen on keskeisessä roolissa mm. autonomisten autojen ja työkoneiden kehityksessä. Tavoitteena ovat käyttäjää helpottavat toiminnot tai jopa miehittämättömät etäohjattavat ratkaisut. Nykyaikaisilla digitaalisilla ohjaamoratkaisuilla voidaan esittää mm. videokuvaa monesta näkökulmasta, millä voidaan parantaa kuljettajan huomiota ja välttää vaaratilanteita.
Koneoppimisella tunnistetaan ympäristöstä kohteita, joista voidaan varoittaa tai ne huomioidaan suoraan koneen ohjauksessa.

Esitämme seminaarissa käytännön ratkaisun, jossa reaaliaikaiseen koneoppiseen perustuva kuvan tunnistus on yhdistetty moderniin ajonohjausjärjestelmään.

Intelligent Digital Cockpit Carputer

With the growing mobility dynamics and regulatory requirements, Link Motion’s Intelligent Digital Cockpit Carputer aims to be the enabling platform for carmakers trying to adopt and revolutionize their forward-thinking goals and stay connected, secured and cloud managed. The future development of the carputer will support, among other things, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain applications.

Speaker:

Antti Varjonen has a strong expertise in programming, electronics and embedded systems. Currently, he is developing computer vision-based testing automation system for Link Motion’s automotive computers. He has also worked as a consultant for quality management and testing at various technology companies. He holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tampere University of Technology.

Project Trillium, Unleashing Innovation for ML on Arm

Project Trillium, Arm’s Machine Learning (ML) platform, enables a new era of advanced, ultra-efficient inference at the edge. Specifically designed for ML and neural network (NN) capabilities, the architecture is versatile enough to scale to any device, from IoT to connected cars and servers. Built from the ground up for optimal performance and efficiency, Project Trillium completes the Arm Heterogenous ML compute platform with the Arm ML processor, the second-generation Arm Object Detection (OD) processor and open-source Arm NN Software Design Kit.

Speaker:

Gilles Augustins is driving Arm Software and Development Tools sales in Europe, and is involved in shaping Arm Machine Learning tools strategy. He’s been with Arm for ten years, in many sales and business development positions, covering partners across Europe for CPUs, silicon libraries and software products.

Koneoppimisen hyödyntäminen koneen ohjauksessa

In my talk I will walk through how machine learning can be utilized in visual recognition tasks, what are its strengths and what complementary methods may be needed. I will demonstrate how it works on an EDGE platform and how it integrates to a digital cockpit to give further awareness to the driver.

Speaker:

Kalevi Ratschunas’ career spans 20 years in the fields of smart phones, embedded and IoT. He has been part of great consumer products coming to life in the mobile and semiconductor industries. In his current role he works on machine learning projects and supports embedded SW development tools.
